WE HAVE A 1970'S 25 HP JOHNSON OUTBOARD BOAT MOTOR WITH A LONG SHAFT AND BLACK AND WHITE HOOD. LOOKING FOR A SHOP MANUAL OR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REMOVE THE WATER PUMP AND REINSTALL.

"Remove oblong plate from the

"Remove oblong plate from the side of the long exhaust housing.

Remove onoly one of the 3/8" hex head bolts from the brass shift connector that you'll see inside of the hole, in back of that plate.

Remove the lower unit retaining bolts to drop the lower unit away.

To install, reverse the process."
