I just replaced the water pump on my j200txecm, and have a few random questions. First, when I pulled it apart, the seal to water tube was kind of squished in the pump, and was partly split, I am guessing this happened when it was last installed and my have been the main cause of my overheating. Made me wonder if anyone glues these in? I did not, as it is not called for in the manual. Also, the extension tube was missing, but the top seal piece was on the water tube. Does this act as a secondary seal, or just a guide? I am not having a problem, pumps water great, just curious.
