Water pump kit

It comes up as a 1990 Commercial motor. Sorry, I don't see a parts list for it. I suggest a call to marineengine's parts dept.

From your part # H=Hong Kong/J=Johnson/RS=Rope Start Commercial/L=20": Shaft/N=2
It should be a 2 year code not 1 letter. 82' or 92'?
Are you certain of that model #?

Yes, I am certain of the mod #. I came to the same conclusion as you did, however, that's all that is on the ID plate on the motor. My basic question is the same as yours...82, or 92. I did find the mod# on a page in this site that says it's a 1990...according to the exact same mod# I referred to, HJ10RSLN. The ser.# is H8511725, Which I found to be no help. Thanks for responding, if you find any further info, it's much appreciated.

Thanks, Dan

That's the info I got, but it doesn't line up with the way the mod# is looked up. The 'N' should mean '2'...but then what? If the water pump kit is the same across the board, I guess it doesn't matter. Thank you.

From the model number guide on this site I make it a 1990 commercial model

Simple. Not all models' parts books are loaded in this website's database. Especially origins from non-USA, or commercial or racing models. They might not even have the parts book to load. Call and see if they have it.
