water pump/impeller

I have a 95 40 hp johnson outboard (j40tleod) and the impeller is shot.
In looking on the internet I am seeing a three vane impeller and a six vane impeller??? Which one is best and should I strick with oem parts or go a little cheaper? Thanks a bunch.. Dave

Factory shows a 3 blade impeller. I like to stick with factory impellers.
