"this is the largest outboard i have owned.i have replaced water pump impellars on all sizes of mercurys up to a 80 hp mercury.i have a 120 mercury tracker,s/n 0E325294,4 cylinder.i need to know how to disconect the shift linkage in the motor area.if anyone has a diagram or suggestions i would be grateful.thanks in adavance for any and all replys.thanks again,Bill"

The shift linkage on that moto

The shift linkage on that motor uses a splined shaft connection so there is no linkage to disconnect.
