I have a Suzuki DT 50..I don't know if this is a problem or not I launch the boat every 6mnths for the Summer Season and have no problem starting the engine.I have noticed that there is a steady stream of water comes from the water outlet above the exhaust but this goes down to a trickle after a while..Is this normal or should I have it checked.The engine runs fine and gives me little or no trouble"

If you only use the motor a few times a year the water pump impeller more than likely need to be replaced and should be replaced one or more times every year depending on the use. If you don’t start it every few weeks the impeller can develop dry rot and the ruber can weaken and crack becoming ineffective.
