"MY volvo penta 5.0l GL has a water leak. This dilema started after i did some maintenance on the outdrive. I and a friend removed the outdrive and changed the 2 bellows, this went very smoothly. The bellows glue was used to seal all areas including the drive .. all went well until i went to put boat the boat inito the water. there is a rush of water pouring into the boat from behind the motor. was not able to see exactly where the water originated. but after about 1 min there had to be aobut 3 gal of water . this is a large amount so must be comming from a large leak. When changing the bellows we did not touch anything close to there. We just changed and greased and put back. torked the bolts and that is all .. now my question is where oh where could that amaount of water come from."
