water intake screen broke out

I just noticed the metal screen at the water intake on one side of the motor is broke and three quarters of it is missing.Any suggestions on what to use in its place?Or is that a piece that can be replaced?1987 50hp force model 507f7c..Thanks

If it's gone no big deal. ???If it's the fins over the hole?I think that piece is molded in and there isn't a replacement. It shouldn't be a problem.
