"I have a serious problem. I ahd my boat worked on last fall and the shop told me they had drained the block. Dumbing me I never double checked and now have alot of water in my oil. I had two freezs plugs that had poped and my exhaust manifold were cracked. I repalced the plugs and bought new manifolds. I started the motor yesterday with muffs and after about 5 minstues the oil was full of water. Really struggling here. It was a good 91 7.4 Bravo II in a 26' Sea Ray. Last fall I had the the gimble, and bearing and all new bellows done. When I picked the boat up he assured me the block was drained. Now do I go after this jerk, and as far as engines go, do I pull this one and take it to the machine shop? Or do I buy a long or short block? What do you thiink the chances are that the intake or heads cracked since the plugs poped non both sides. I would hate to have this boat just sit. The guy I bought the boat from just had a new Bravo II lower end install and harlys has any hours on it. I have refinished most of the wood and had all the seat redone. I really like the boat. Do I start by pulling the intake while in the boat and inspecting or is that a waste of time. I also pulle dthe motor before taking it to him and replace a bad coupler and fix a soft stringer. I ahve already put alot on money and effort in this boat. Thanks for all input and please do not call me a dumbing for trusting this guy I paid 1,200 to for fixing the boat last fall."
