water in the oil

Recently discovered water in my 1995 crusader 350 XL raw water cooled engine. Changed the oil n filter within 5 mins there was 2-3 quarts of water in the oil. Motor seems to run fine no knocks or white smoke from exhaust. Temp steady at 160.. obvious motor needs attention. Not sure if intake manifold leaking or exhaust manifolds or risers. Both replaced with oem parts approx 250hrs ago. Boat is docked in fresh water but used in salt water..suggestions would be appreciated before tearing apart this engine. Thank you!

If you gained 2-3 qts of water within 5 minutes then you have major problems. How old is the motor and you say it is used in salt water? If I was to guess, I would say that something has rotted out and if its not the risers then it has to be in the block and if that is the case you are looking at repowering.

I had same problem a few years back. The oil cooler was the issue. Replaced it, and all was good.
