water in oil

I did a poor job winterizing, cracked both exhaust manifolds, replaced both manifolds but not risers. Did not check oil before starting. Ran well for about 6 minutes and then had white milkshake material come out of valve cover breather hose. Oil pan full of white goo. Do I need to tear this engine apart and look for cracked head etc. Can I do this work with the engine in the boat or is it done better by pulling the engine out of the boat?

This a v6 would be nice to know.

Anyway maybe just maybe the valley between the heads common for it to crack there when it freezes.

Yea pull the motor go down to the local junkyard and get another motor.
