"1987 Bayliner Capri 2.3 OMC Cobra outdrive.
Ok, it's been a long road i've traveled with this boat. Lot's and lot's of work. I was always under the assumption (based on previous owners statements) That the outdrive is in perfect condition. Which is mostly why I bought it in the first place. Interior is perfect and OD (Supposedly) But had to rebuild the motor, That's finally done. Changed the Outdrive oil. Ran in the drive way with muffs on for about 5 minutes. Mostly at idle just to get the carb tuned. And timing right. Pulled the bottom drain plug on the outdrive to see the quality of the new oil and it's as milky as can be. How's water getting in there when running with just the muffs?"
