"I a have a 1975 40h.p. johnson/evinrude. My fuel is milky in the carb opening, but is fine in the carb bowl. Fuel cell is also fine. Is this the intake gasket? or something with the crankcase?anyone head me in the right direction."

"high humidty,low morning temp

"high humidty, low morning temps will show that on the carb...not a prob...just make sure of no wtr in fuel,to rule that out."

"At first the fuel almost look

"At first the fuel almost looked rusty. I also just rebuilt the carb, float was stuck wide open and left us stranded. also there are 2 vaccum lines under the carb on the crank case and I get a little water or fuel out of them when first unplugged, not milky. The longer it ran it seemed to clear up in the carb. Ran bad at first but still idled."
