"What lead to the hydrolock in

"What lead to the hydrolock in the first place? Water came from somewhere...

Same source for water intrusion: cracked block, cracked manifold, bad flapper in exhaust, head gasket...."

"my buddy was driving the boat

"my buddy was driving the boat on to the trailer he had the rpms at about 3,500 to get the boat on the trailer then shut the motor off to quick i did not know the motor had hydro locked til the next trip out tryed to start the boat and found it locked"

"What can we help with?

Yo

"What can we help with?

You've got a significant problem. As stated, probably on of the following: cracked block, cracked manifold, bad flapper in exhaust, blown head gasket...

Cause could have been overheating or improper winterization.

The water in the oil and hydro locking are symptoms."

Any chance that the water &#40

Any chance that the water (rain) could have gotten into the carb? Had that happen to me and the water eventually made its way down the cylinders and into the oil system. Tom
