I recently bought a pontoon with a 50 hp Johnson . Had a real time trying to get it to start or run . Plug showed water on the bottom cylinder . Pulled the head and replaced gasket . 100 psi on both . Still had troubles with it running. Pulled the head again and still had water. It looks as if the port on the right side is the culprit, it's blowing the water . ( actually a tan gooh ) I'm assuming there is a crack ??? My question is how can I have 100 psi if it's cracked ???? Any help would be greatly appreciated !!"
