"1994 2352 Trophy w/ 5.7 Alpha One - Haven't noticed bilge filling while on hose but when I run the boat there will be several gallons after maybe a 10 mile run. Replaced the shift cable and bellows and checked the driveshaft bellows when the outdrive was off (no sign of water inside of that bellows). I don't believe water is getting in while the boat is just sitting still in the water. Anyone run into this? Where to start? I may have to get someone to run the boat while I inspect with a flashlite and mirror, hope we don't hit any big wakes. Thanks for any help."

Good luck,

Guarantee that its the exhaust

Guarantee that its the exhaust y pipe connection at the transom plate. They get loose and water runs in there. 12 point socket on the bolts. They are a pain to get to. Good luck.

Harves - Does the motor have to come out or is it possible to tighten the bolts with everything in place?

Had a similar problem and thou

Had a similar problem and thought water was coming into the hull but it came from a worn water pump seal. My advice: Take a look at this before dismantling anything.

You can service it from in the

You can service it from in the boat depending on the bildge configuration. The compartment layout letting you get at the spot. There is either a 3 or 4 bolt pattern. They loosen and corrode there. If its badly corroded tightening with not help. Most the time the bolts are vibrated right out. You need a 12 point socket and maybe a swivel or long extension. Good Luck
