I have water in 2 cylinders on

I have water in 2 cylinders on engine right beside each other and all cylinders on compression test are about 150 except these two are 155 and 170 is this a blown head gasket or is my block cracked or head cracked. my engine is a 260 mercricruiser which is a 350 also can you use a 350 car engine and enter change parts any information would help on what to do next?

"3,5 or 2,4? Center rise riser

"3,5 or 2,4? Center rise risers?
Might be a bad exaust manifold casting allowing water to weep in.Pull the riser and see if it`s wet inside."

The water in the cylinder will

The water in the cylinder will give a higher than normal compression reading. My guess would be that if your head gasket was blown or a crack anywhere in the cylinder your compression would read a lot lower than the rest of the cylinders. You might be OK as far as internal damage. As long as you don't try and start your engine with water in the cylinders! Do like Bt doctor said and check your manifold.

"Would that cause white smoke

"Would that cause white smoke if the manifold is bad it is the center cylinders i think would be 2,4."

Any water burning in your cyli

Any water burning in your cylinders will cause steam. It will also cause hydrolock as well. And that is bad.

I also had water in my back 2

I also had water in my back 2 cyl's[port side].It ended up being a crack in the exhaust manifold.

what to do next is easy. drai

what to do next is easy. drain the water out of that motors and get a ton of wd 40 in the bores immediatly before you stick the rings in the pistons. also would be fairly quick to get some oil on the valve stems as well before you rust a valve open and bend it the next time you turn the motor over. you can take your time figuring out what has gone wrong but leaving any moisture in those holes while you are doing it is going to make matters a lot worse when you finally figure it out.
