water deflectors

I have a 1979 Evinrude 200 hp v6, and changing the crank shaft. How do I change the water deflectors?

Look in the water jackets beside the cylinders.-------------They are rubber hoses that guide water around the block.-----------And no the water does not go through those hoses.
