water cooling 9.9 johnson 2000

problem with water cooling. when idling water take long time to come out when reving water then starts to come out. have to watch constintly for water stream. is it my impeller or water pump that needs attention. motor must get hot because steam comes out in water spout.

Change impeller. On those engine it is almost a yearly service.
