"I have a intermittent buzzer it usually happens early in the year , the first few times I take out my boat then usually it goes away should I be worried? This is a 1982 115 vro"

"THE ONLY TIME MY JOHNSON 150 (1983) HAD THE BUZZER GO OFF IS WHEN IT OVERHEATED BECUASE THE WATER PUMP (IMPELLER) FINALLY WENT. I USUALLY REPLACE IT MYSELF BUT I HAD THE MARINA DUE AND THEY ONLT HIT ME $100.OO INSTAALED, THEY SAID AND I AGREE DO IT EVERY SPRING AND YOU NEVER HAVE TO WAORRY ABOUT IT. GOOD LUCK, BOB"

"The 82-115HP did not come with VRO.You may need to install a new impeller if it has not been done for 3 years or remove the cylinder heads to check the water flow guides ( deflecters ), resurface the heads ( they will be warped ) and install new head gaskets."
