"I need some help. I have a 1996 225 HP Saltwater Series. There's a damn buzzer that is driving me nuts, and cutting engine power. It seems to go off somewhat randomly. The engine is not overheating, according to the guages. I did remove the engine resoivor system and mix the fuel now directly into the fuel, could that be the cause? Any insight will be greatly appreciate it."

i would plug the reservoir bac

i would plug the reservoir back in and keep it full
or you have to make a harness to tell the engine it is always full

Thanks for the help. I took a look at what was done. They tie wrapped the bobber on the oil resoivor tank in an upward fashion to represent a full tank. The actual dip stick was then placed upside down next to the block in the engine casing. Do you recommend anything else? I really apologize for the info request I am just a novice to the mechanical aspect of boating and I have been working on this boat for 8 months. I finally thought it was up and running until this occurred.
