warmed up issue

97 caravelle with mercruiser 4.3 lx gen+

motor runs excellent on start up, once engine gets warmed up i have a rough miss. engine tries to stall. my first boat. any help would be greatly appreciated
 
New to you means you need to do things the prior owner didn't do

Start with
What is your motor serial number? This way we will know the configuration of your motor

Remove fuel filter and dump contents into a clear container, you should see only clear clean gas

Remove the distributor cap, what does it look like inside?

Remove plugs, what do they look like?

First thoughts is need to clean carb. When motor is cold the choke is supplying more fuel to the motor. Once the motor warms up the motor gets less fuel and it runs rough.

Things that should be done before use
Drain drive gear lube and ensure it looks good
Replace water impeller and maybe housing if worn to much
Change motor oil and filter
 
motor serial number is 0K012684.
Fuel is clean, distributor cap looks great and inside looks new, no cracks or wear. plug wires are new, i havent pulled plugs out
