wanting to modify my tohatsu 30hp

i am looking for any information to make my tohatsu 30hp faster its bone stock at the moment but im wanting to modify to the max problem i have is i dont really know where to start and dont know what websites to get parts from any information anyone can give is greatly appriciated. im really wanting to do this project on my own without taking it to the boat shop.kind of something ive wanted to try
