Want 4 blade SS prop

Hello. I have a Mercury 50 197

Hello. I have a Mercury 50 1977 with 3 blade 15p aluminum propeller and I wanted to buy a SS 4 blade propeller. Boat with motor is a difficult 250 kg and Im not sure that the size of the new 4 blade propeller to buy. Would you like to buy a 15p or less for one more blade?

"Vuk, moving from a 3 blade to a 4 blade usually requires that you drop 1" in pitch to make up for the extra drag etc which will lower the rpms by 100-150.

Since you are also looking at going to Stainless, which bites harder, flexs less etc, I would drop maybe 2".

So a 13 or 14 pitch 4 blade Stainless should work fine for you if you were happy with the results you were getting with your current prop."
