vro40 hose ?

I have a vro40 model #e40jlceo there is a small1/8 inch or so hose coming out of the intake manifold below the bottom carb. can anyone tell me where the other end of that hose goes?

1/8" ID or OD?... If ID, to bottom of carb faceplate.
