vro fuel pump 1985 70hp

:rolleyes:Have a 85 70hp 3 cyl Johnson. Have disconected the vro & now later find the fuel pump side has quit. Trying to find a non vro pump replacement that hooks up relatively easy. Tks Albi

Just order a pump for a 1983 70 HP and install it.--------------Remove the pulse limiter ( if equipped ) and put in a barbed fitting for pulses to the pump.----------Simple and cheaper solution than repairs to the VRO unit.

Thanks Racerone will try that. My pump is working now. I am not using the oil side. This is for future reference cause everything else on this motor wants to break. Is the pulse limiter obvious to find?
