Hi Joe/some bodey?
I have two problems with my vro60 johnson. The idel is low so it tends to stopp when aplying gear. Trying to solw this i notisted that when applying full gas(forwrd) the trottels intend to open just apx70% off full capasaty.Is it an adjustment nedded on the control box? how?

The throttle plate

The throttle plates do not open to full capacity. From what you have said it seems that the throttles are operating properly.

You will notice a roll pin through the throttle shafts, on the starboard side of the carbs. These pins should be vertical at full throttle.

The idle speed is set by adjusting the timing, not by changing the throttle plates. The engine should idle with the throttle plates closed.
