I have a 2001 VP 350 GXI 350 hp DP. The first start of the day the engine starts with no problems. After running 45 min. I shut down and start my drift, At the end of the drift (20 min.) I’ll try and start the engine. It either kicks off or it starts and the rpm stays at 200-300 then goes to idle (600rpm) Sometimes I have to restart several time before it starts and runs. This goes on the rest of the day. Occasionally it won’t start at all. I let it rest a few minutes and then it starts. It acts as if it’s not getting enough fuel! Any input would be helpful. I fear is, one day it won’t start and I’ll be offshore 20 miles.
All filters have been changed, New disturber cap and rotor ck’d plugs and wires are good. Engines has 1117 hrs
