"I have a 1996 5.0Fi, with a DP-S outdrive, but when I look into parts ID on the V-P online parts store I need to select one of the following:
5.0Fi PHUECE
5.0Fi PHURCE
5.0Fi PMDA
5.0Fi PMDM
5.0Fi PNCBCE
5.0Fi PNCSCE
I have not been able to find the metal SR# tag and on the silver id lable all I can read is the modle # 5.0Fi. I do not see any other leters, as above, after it and the SR# line is unreadable.
Does anyone know what the above designations stand for or how I can id which one is my engine?"

HU is 1995
NC is 1996
LK is 1997
BY is 1998
WT is 1999
EF is 2000
-A is 2001
-B is 2002

Yours is either 5.0Fi PNCBCE or 5.0Fi PNCSCE.

I found that the fuel pumps for either of the 2 designations you suggested is the same so I do know what pump I need to buy if I do have to get one.. do you know what the "bce" or "sce" mean?
