I am new to boating and have a 2003 FW Vista 248 w/ a V/P 5.0 GXi. In short I have had the boat for a week and ran the boat perfectly for 4 consecutive days. On the 5th day I could not get the engine to start. I have 3/4 of a tank of gas. The safety switch with the lanyard is in its correct place and a look at the engine revealed no loose cable or hoses. Could someone recommend me some other tests I could do before having to haul this to a mechanic. All help is greatly appreciated.
