"No, too long ago. Take it to a shop and let the guy mic them with a caliper. They should be able to figure out what you need.
On the same subject, the pump will probably let the trim drift down as well. Come to find out it is a Prestolite pump. There are a couple of sites that will sell you a rebuilt valve to go on the bottom of the motor and reservoir. One guy wanted $180 but yours has to be rebuild-able. If not he says he'll return the whole thing along with your money.
Another guy I spoke with says the problem is the shuttle valve in the bottom. Pull out the two snap rings and pull out the aluminum plugs (one of the hardest things you'll do unless the o-rings are shot). The shuttle valve operates between those two aluminum plugs. It has an o-ring on it that I found at Loews. That seems to work fine, but the problem is either the o-ring on the aluminum plug, or the tiny spring-loaded valve in the end of the plug.
When the drive is at rest, the pressure enters the plug through the two holes in the side, and pushes against the tiny valve. If the seat is good, and the oil cannot get around the o-ring on the outside of the plug, it should work. Still working on mine so this is still an educated theory so far. All this makes sense if you get the plug out and look at it.
I no longer live near the hydraulic shop, or I might have gone there for the o-rings as well. But the seals in the rams will not be found at Loews or Home Depot.
It will cost me way more in my own labor than the $180, but that's the life of a boater sometimes..."
