"Took the boat out for the first time. Boat overheated within 10 minutes. Found that impeller had about 1 1/2 blades missing. Found round tips in drain plug on manifold. Bigger pcs. not found. I replaced impeller and still had it overheat. Next I back flushed the lower unit intake, flushed the thermo housing, flushed the manifold. I also replaced the thermostat, heat sender, heat sensor, and tested the exhaust heat sensor.

It is still overheating. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for any advice you have!

sounds like you are getting an

sounds like you are getting an air leak on the intake side of cooling system. if you can put a clear hose on your cooling water intake from the transom to the w/p impeller intake and if it has ANY bubbles then you are sucking in air somewhere. possibly the water tube seal between the upper and lower may have been installed incorrectly. also the water intake gasket on the bell housing may be bad or missing. you can also use the same tube to go from impeller outlet to t-stat housing to see if there is a leak on the pump housing its self.
