I can't get this Aq120b mo

I can't get this Aq120b motor out from my 270 outdrive.
I took 6 bell housing bolts out and no luck moving engine forward to remove.
Can anyone help me here? thanks

"Normally, the engine and the bellhousing are removed together.

Now, if you want to remove the engine and leave the bellhousing attached to the outdrive, make sure that you remove all the bolts; but also remember there are two dowel pins that may difficult the separation of the engine from the bellhousing. There is also a ball bearing in the crankshaft guiding the primary shaft.

If you are going to do your own repairs, consider buying the Seloc and/or Clymer manuals, it is money well invested."

I cannot speak for your engine, only for mine, but I think they would be quite similiar. There are four bolts holding a plate onto the bellhousing. Two of them are quite difficult to get at, therefore it is recommended that you remove the outdrive and pull the engine with the bellhousing intact. Also the short shaft inside the bellhousing maybe seized onto the splines in the driveplate, which case it may take some extra effort to free it.

I finally got tha

I finally got that bugger out.Used my engine hoist and a prybar to pop the thing out.
You were right about the pins. they were a son of a gun.Once I heard that pop I knew i had it.
