Have a 1966 Luger 22 foot cutty that has been in covered storage since 1977. Had a Ford 221 Crusader with an Eaton 14 outdrive. Retired and decided to fix up and use. Found engine seized and after pulling heads found Port cylinders full of water and rear cylinder exhaust valve rusted open. Suspect exhaust header failure.
Decided to replace entire set up. Found a '77 Ford 351W in good shape and am wondering what Volvo Penta outdrive would be the best match. I understand the AQ series is a good outdrive, just not sure which one would be best. Thanks in advance for any advice.
