I just put in a new steering cable why is my steering hard on the left but fine on the right.

Please clarify!

"Hard on the left"...... as in hard steering when turning to Port?
"Fine on the right"....... as in turns OK when turning to Starboard?

Your thread title implies "inboard"..........
Is this a single or twin engine boat?
Which transmission(s) is it equipped with?
