I am able to replace the bearing that is not listed in the parts breakdown to save customers the $457.00 complete pump
machined up some tools for disassembly and determined the bearing number.

All of these bearings are industry standard bearings. Between the Sherwood, Jabsco and Johnson, these will be a XXXX 2RS sealed bearing.
Apply some heat to the bearing housing prior to removing it.

Don't forget to check the inner impeller bore, and the inside of the cover (thrust surfaces) for signs of scoring or damage.

BTW and FWIW......, you can replace this entire crankshaft pump with a Johnson F5B-9 for around $150 (when on sale), new impeller included!

F5B-9 is the standard volume pump....................... the F6B-9 is the large volume pump.
Sherwood, Jabsco and Johnson all share the same footprint and porting.
