"I am having a problem with on

"I am having a problem with one of my engines..I turn the key and NOTHING! No crank no click...nothing. I first tested the relay, that was fine, I decided to change the starter...it was found to be faulty.....installed the new starter.....and NOTHING AGAIN!...I am stumpted at this point....now none of my gauges on the faulty engine side do not work.....I realize it is an electrical problem but I am at a lose to find it can anyone help.

"Try hotwiring the large post

"Try hotwiring the large post in the starter with the flat prong at the right side of the starter where the yellow/red wire is connected. If the starter turns, the problem is likely the relay or the wiring/connections going to the relay, or the ignition switch itself.

If all OK, make sure there is good ground between the engine and the (-) of the battery."

how is that done....I depresse

how is that done....I depressed it several times but to no avail....would this fuse cause the problems I am experiencing?
 
"Yes. If that fuse is tripped,

"Yes. If that fuse is tripped, you won't get any power to the instrument panel or the relay.

Try pressing harder. Also, check the condition of the wiring, it could be loose or corroded. You can also check with a volt meter whether or not the fuse is tripped."
 
Check the fuse that goes to yo

Check the fuse that goes to your ignition switch. Should be in the panel behind your dash or where ever your main fuse panal is.
