Volvo PEnta 8 L outdrive

Vibration in outdrive when under load turning at low wakeless speed and under load while getting up to plane. Now have slow water leak coming in through transom. Chapparrel 28ft 10 yrs old with 500+ hrs. Do you have a sense of what may have failed Knuckle or U joints?

Telling us which OUTDRIVE would help , however a question...
How old are the rubber boots, especially the one on the universal drive shaft (the top one).
