Volvo Kad43a thread insert help

Hey guys im in the process of mounting a kad43 in a project that someone abandoned. The previous owner somehow stripped out a couple of the flywheel housing holes that bolt the clamp ring to the motor against the transom shield.

After finding out that the threads are imperial and arent tapped directly to the flywheel housing but instead uses a thread insert that I assume is stainless, I can not figure out a part number for the insert of find it on a parts diagram.

Has anyone replaced these inserts? Can I use a universal thread repair coil?

If I understand you correctly there are threaded insert's installed and threads are imperil (threads per inch)

If correct the method to remove the insert is to drill out just the threads and than use a tap to rethread
That said I would suggest take it to a machine shop and let them do it

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping there would be a way to replace the factory thread insert without having to drill it out. I did find it weird that volvo used non metric threads for those bolts. I ordered new volvo bolts and they match the imperial threads
