volvo B20 & B30 mounts the same??????

That's the one I was talking about. At least, that's the impression I get from the pictures at Volvopentastore. I would send you a link but I can only access that site via a proxy server, since apparently only US residents are expected to access it.
 
OK, you will have to replace the stars with the letters s-e-x (marineparts-e-xpress). It seems the forum has one of those politically correctess filters installed. ;)

Realistically, you don't need the front mounts as long as your transom is in good shape. My boat, with an aq130D, was built in 1976 and it's still holding strong. It's up to you but it just seems to be a lot of extra work.

Thats the way, I think my transom is getting soft, but I want to get another season or two out of it before I have to replace it.

I have a 78 aq130d with 280 outdrive thats frozen and can't get it to brake loose. Am buying a long block b20 engine and the guy building it needs to know what bolt pattern is or how it is connected to outdrive as he put what is needed for it to work. Any input would be appreciated. Mine is still in boat and will be for a while until time is available to change it out. Still hoping the outdrive will be good after motor is changed.
 
Welcome to the forum. You should start a new thread for your problem since it'll probably get lost in the middle of someone elses thread. Besides, it's not good forum etiquette to hijack someone elses thread.
