Volvo aq125a rougth running and stalling

"I have a aq125a and it will run pretty good for a while and then it will stall, it will start right up but when you put it in gear it will idle real slow and stall.
let it rest for apx 5-10 mins and it will run in gear for a short while and go back to the rough running
I just had a tune up done on it all new plugs wires points condenser and timed. When it stalls it has a very strang smell to it and black smoke comes out
I drained the fuel and replaced with fresh, and seafoam aditive.
Tried a elec pump and cleaned the air filter and carb I am totally confused what this can be?"

Also, you may want to check that the anti-syphon valve in the fuel tank is not stuck and that the carb is not internally gummed-up.

"Ron, how did things shake out? Fixed? I have seen similar problems which were related to the carb's air/fuel bleed needle. Sometimes, just turning the needle back and forth will clear it. Sometimes, removal and a mild blast of air does the trick. I'm not sure what the black smoke signifies, a new Pope?"

Still have the same problem. A

Still have the same problem. Also is pinging on throttleing. Going to start at the tank and work my way to the carb and try to figure this out.
Anyone else got any ideas please let me know.
