"Hi , been reading on this forum for a while , luckily have never had a problem before . It is a 2000 5.7gsi 280hp . Last time out audible engine alarm went off after about 5 mins. at headway (no wake) . Pulled the engine hatch to see what was going on . Engine was running while I was checking it out. Went back to the helm and noticed the temp was 215-220deg , Shut down right away and waited for engine to cool.After 2 hrs , still at 135-140deg called for a tow. Ended up replacing the impeller , now engine won't start. Is there something simple I might be missing (reset?)Thanks for your help.
