"Hi Guys, need some advise regarding fitting a blocking diode.
I am fitting a second battery to my Bayliner 2556 and have bought a blocking diode, however the fitting instructions do not make it clear if the cable between the alternator and starter motor should be removed from the starter and connected to the alternator terminal of the diode or if a seperate cable should be connected from the alternator to the diode and the original cable left in place.
Any advise would be appreciated."
