"O.K., I have a 290 DP 1989, I've read the books and forums and need help. How do you remove the trim sender? I have removed the yoke like hold down bracket and am now looking at 3 wires going into a hard black plastic plug. The books say remove wires and mark them(how and why mark?) pull out caulk(don't see any caulk) it's just hard plastic. What am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance I hope."
