Volvo 275 outdrive Steering Helmit PIVOT PIN HELP

Does anyone have any tricks/id

Does anyone have any tricks/ideas on how to remove a stuck steering helmit "pivot pin" that connects the steering helmit to the top of the 275 outdrive. I have removed the two screws from the the pivot pin but can not lift out the pivot pin. I have tried "PB Blaster" penetrating oil and have tried to pull it out with a pliers and with screws wedged in the two side holes with no success.
The SELOC manual descibes tools shaped like bent metal bars. The local dealers dont have access to this tool and do not know what part number to order from Volvo.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

No help from lots of PB Blaster and heat. I didn't try the 1/4" NC bolt routine refferenced in the LEPESCADOR (ROBJ) link yet. What is the "NC" designation for the 1/4" bolt. I hope that I didn't strip the threads while trying to pull the pivot pin out , while grabbing the insides of the two side holes with wedged in screws."
