"My 1986 Bayliner shifts into drive and reverse OK, and will go along at a fast walk speed. As power is applied the prop doesn't spin faster. I don't think the aluminum prop has a rubber hub that could spin. Has anyone ever heard of a pressed gear spinning on the shaft? There is no damage on the prop that wuold indicate that I hit anything."
