2004 Mercury 90 Two-Stroke, Serial Number 0T843730. I am having an occasional issue were the engine will bog down and die while running on a plane. It usually happens about 30 minutes into a trip. I can get it to restart by putting it into neutral and giving it full throttle. After about 5 minutes it will start running good again. So far I have replaced all spark plugs, fuel lines, fuel filter, primer bulb and rebuilt the fuel pump. I'm starting to thing it may be the voltage regulator since the tachometer is no longer working as well. I would greatly appreciate some help.
