"Hello I have 1954 matthews that was repowered in the 80's with twin lm360's. one of my voltage regulators has gone bad and I need to replace it but dont really know which one to get. I know it is a prestolite alternator.

"How's the condition of your alternators? If they are getting old, you might replace them with new, one wire types that do away with alternators altogether.

I will wait until one of the alternators craps out then convert them both. Which alternator are you using for the switch?
