Hi All,
Really appreciate all the great experience on this forum. I have a situation that I need some help/advice.
Starboard engine volts dropping after about an hour of cruising
When I fire up the engine and take it off shore power, the volts read about 14.4. Everything looks good. After about an hour of cruising, for some reason the volts drop to about 12 (or so) and hold. I have checked the batteries with a volt meter and all seem to be fine. I have replaced the alternator belt. This situation is only occurring on the starboard engine.
Any suggestions? I was thinking about removing the alternator and having it checked but also wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions for me. Appreciate the help
