"Hi, my 2000 Vmax 225 EFI has always started perfectly. Recently it has begun having problems firing. I usually have to pump the bulb a few times to get it to fire. Once it is running it is perfect.
I believe there are TWO fuel pumps, one to "prime" the fuel for ignition and the other to feed the motor once running. Is that correct and does it sound like my problem may be with that first pump?
If so how much should that cost to replace?
